3 Units at Crestwood
This multi-unit dwelling (3 Units) is situated in Norman Gardens, North Rockhampton in a residential estate. The site had an area of 1031m² and was located in a low density residential zone meaning an impact assessable development application was required. The development provides 3 units which from the street frontage have a modern appearance and is a seamless addition to this residential area. Each unit has 3 bedrooms and a generous open living area that offers great flow from the front door through the living areas and out to the outdoor entertainment area. Although this site is tight these units offer a large open spaces and a family style lifestyle that is not normally found with unit developments.

Two challenges were providing a functional annexed apartment that would satisfy council requirements and providing an attractive facade for a 41m long dwelling. By situating the garages centrally we provided a divide between dwelling and annex. This broke the bulk of the building and allowed compartmentation of each section individually.
